Beran A., an 21 year old Austrian national, has admitted guilt to conspiracy charges regarding a terrorist attack plan, inspired by the terrorist group, ISIS, against a Taylor Swift concert held in Austria in August 2024. According to the confession, the individual planned the mass killing through the use of knives and explosives against the numerous people who had gathered in front of the stadium. Despite the cancellation of the events due to threats from US intelligence, the trial further exposed the existence of connections with the terrorist group who planned to carry out similar attacks in Saudi Arabia, Turkey, and UAE.
